Shanghai Zhonghua Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. is one of the first national pharmaceutical industry enterprises in modern China. It is a "Chinese time-honored brand" with a century old "Dragon Tiger" brand, and a production and manufacturing base for "Dragon Tiger" brand and "Temple of Heaven" brand cooling oil, "Dragon Tiger Ren Dan", cooling nasal inhalers, wind oil essence, and cosmetics.
In 1912, the year after Longhu Rendan went public, based on a trendy brand awareness, the company created the "Longhu" trademark with the well-known Chinese folk image of flying dragons and tigers gazing at each other, expressing the enterprise's enterprising spirit and royal spirit.
In 1923, the Beiyang government promulgated the Trademark Law, and the Longhu brand, Rendan, and pattern were reapplied. They were approved for registration in 1925, becoming the first government recognized and standardized pharmaceutical trademark in China.
Since 1914, the Japanese East Asia Company has monopolized the market by falsely accusing my products of counterfeiting their "beard raising Rendan". In 1927, the Chinese Ministry of Internal Affairs finally ruled in favor of "Longhu", and the company won the first national pharmaceutical brand rights protection case in the Chinese pharmaceutical industry, demonstrating its national character.
OUR HISTORY
Mr. Huang Chujiu,an industrialist from Yuyao,Zhejiang,established the Longhu Company in Shanghai. Based on his experience of practicing medicine with his father at a young age,Huang Chujiu created a medicinal pill called Ren Dan,which is based on the ancient famous formula "Zhuge Xingjun San" and the ancestral formula "Seventy Two Symptoms Formula". He also created the potion "Ren Dan" to open the orifices,awaken the mind,dispel heat,and stop vomiting. Four years later,the company was renamed as Zhonghua Pharmaceutical Company,and with an independent industrial structure and operating model,it changed the traditional production method of the Chinese pharmaceutical handicraft industry and became the first national pharmaceutical industry enterprise in China.
During World War I,a large number of Japanese bearded pills were dumped,and the Japanese East Asia Company,in order to monopolize the market,falsely accused me of counterfeiting their bearded pills. In the difficult and difficult environment,Zhonghua Pharmaceutical Company is not afraid of intimidation and stands up to fight for its rights. This lawsuit lasted for nearly ten years,from the local court to the Beijing Dali Court (equivalent to the Supreme Court). In 1927,the Chinese Ministry of Internal Affairs finally ruled in favor of "Longhu",and Zhonghua Pharmaceutical Company won the first national pharmaceutical brand rights protection case of the Chinese pharmaceutical industry,demonstrating its national character.
In order to maintain the brand and prevent counterfeiting,Zhonghua Pharmaceutical Company has jointly registered the "Dragon Tiger Brand","Ren Dan",and the design to obtain the exclusive right to use the product trademark. Huang Chujiu created the "Dragon and Tiger" trademark with the well-known Chinese folk image of a flying dragon and a fierce tiger gazing at each other,expressing the enterprise's enterprising spirit and royal spirit. Thus,the "Dragon and Tiger" trademark became the first standardized registered pharmaceutical trademark in China.
Zhonghua Pharmaceutical Company,which had relocated back to Shanghai,separated from the Sino French pharmacy and established an independent business. It was reorganized into Zhonghua Pharmaceutical Co.,Ltd.,with Chen Fenghao serving as the general manager. The trademark "Longhu" was renewed,and the new prescription "Rendan" was used. Through the method of "special distribution contracts," the special sales outlets were expanded to more than 30 locations in 15 provinces and cities across the country,Southeast Asia,the Philippines,Singapore,Thailand,and more. Kuomintang government commissioner Feng Yuxiang sent a pair of couplets to his special secretary,who wrote "The old will eventually be eliminated,and the new will be preserved" to congratulate him. He also visited the Zhonghua Pharmaceutical Factory the following year.
The 60 pill packaging machine independently developed by Zhonghua Pharmaceutical Factory has been rated as an invention project by the National Science and Technology Commission,and has obtained the "Invention Certificate" No. 0069 personally signed by Nie Rongzhen,the then director of the Science and Technology Commission of the People's Republic of China. After appraisal by relevant departments,the performance of this machine has exceeded that of similar machines in Japan,and it has won the second prize for technological innovation issued by the State Council. The innovation team has also been awarded the title of Advanced Collective in Socialist Construction in Shanghai.
The export cooling oil loan project of Zhonghua Pharmaceutical Factory has been completed with a total investment of 288000 yuan. The total area of the newly built factory building is 1100 square meters,and the annual production capacity has been expanded to 10000 boxes. As the flagship product of Zhonghua Pharmaceutical Factory,Qingliang Oil is very popular around the world,earning an annual foreign exchange of 10 million US dollars,ranking first in the export volume and total foreign exchange revenue of important pharmaceutical products in China. It is known as the "Oriental Magic Oil" and is exported to more than 80 countries and regions.
The cooling oil produced by Zhonghua Pharmaceutical Factory has been included in the national long-term "secret level" technology project with its innovative formula and manufacturing process,and has become one of the representative traditional Chinese medicine preparations with independent intellectual property rights,adding color to the national treasure of Chinese medicine.
